2019 PKS Easter Egg Hunt Families and excited children gathered at Garner Park on April 21 for the town’s annual Easter Egg Hunt, sponsored by the Parks and Recreation Committee. Thanks to BJ Peter for organizing the event and to those who donated candy and helped to fill and hide the eggs. A special note of thanks to Sweet Spot Ice Cream and Gifts in Emerald Isle for donating a large portion of the candy and filling over 2,000 eggs. As always, the Fire, Police and Public Services departments were a tremendous help in making this a successful event. mi Four-year-old Parker Gallagher Wells, grandson of John and Libby Gallagher, is tense with anticipation for the start of the egg hunt. —Photo courtesy of Libby Gallagher mm % From ieft, Mia and Tomasso Roach, children of Pine Knoll Shores homeowners Steve and Valentina Roach, and Fisher Bedsworth, son of Pine Knoli Shores residents Christian and Emily Bedsworth, are ready for the hunt to begin.—-p/iofo by by Emily Bedsworth V • H Fisher Bedsworth was happy with the results of his hunt. —Photo by Emily Bedsworth ■i' Wfh. * Braxton Williford, son of Pine Knoll Shores residents Raine and Bernie Williford, looks pleased with his finds. 16 The Shoreline I June 2019 ■ .-IS Wi^. * 4 i 't, Carrsin Furtner (left), son of Madeline and Kevin Furtner, and cousin Brighton Moore had a great time filling their baskets. —Photo by Madeline Ft i."
