From left, Caleb is a 4th grader at Morehead Elementary; Grace, a 3rd grader at Morehead Primary: Cameron, a 1st grader at Morehead Primary; and Peyton is a 7th grader at Morehead Middle School. —Photo by Lesley Wheeler Successful Fundraiser The Pine Knoll Shores Fire Auxiliary held a fundraiser car wash in late August to help with medical expenses for Mason Sanz, son of Pine Knoll Shores firefighter Jada Forcier. All of the volunteer firemen, the four duty firefighters, Mayor Ken Jones and mayoral candidate Margaret (Peggy) Young participated in washing 75 cars. Donations for the day’s effort totaled $2,284.
