Seeking Volunteers
for K4TW
By Jean McDanal
As we begin the New Year, we are already gearing
up for the 2020 Kayak for the Warriors (K4TW)
activities in May and June. Expanding our online
presence has been good for us, but doing so means
having to devote more time working with our
website, other social media and registration.
We are currently looking for help in the following
areas:
1. Someone to help keep our website up to date
with changing information as necessary.
2. Someone willing to contact various
publications, town offices, etc., to get the word
out. Public relations is an important aspect of
our events, and we have a list of contacts to help
with this effort.
3. Folks to help sell tickets for the reception/
auction gala, lottery board, etc.
4. People to help with distributing the brochure in
April.
If any of these volunteer positions interest you,
please email me at jmcdanal@ec.rr.com or call 252-
808-2998. Getting started now will make everybody’s
job easier. Your help with this worthwhile project will
be most appreciated.
