Garden Club Work Day Members of the Garden Club spent a sunny afternoon in October clearing out the town gardens and getting them ready for the winter weather to come. Jak Kramer was promoted to major after he relinquished command of Weapons Company, 2nd Battalion, 25th Marines, a Marine Reserve Infantry Battalion, known as the Empire Battalion, out of New York.
