Introducing Spoondrift
Corner Market
It has been a long time since we have
welcomed a new business to Pine Knoll
Shores, and it’s exciting. Spoondrift
fits the definition of a business long
described in our town’s Strategic Plan
as something needed here—a place
where citizens could go, get a bite to
eat, something to drink and visit with
their friends right here in town. At
Spoondrift, located between Pine Knoll
Shores Realty and the library at 320
Salter Path Road, you can even shop for
that last-minute gift from offerings by
local artists and craftspeople.
Dreamed and created by Marian Goetzinger and Amy Hahn, a mother/
daughter team, Spoondrift is as unique and local as Pine Knoll Shores. The walls
are decorated with local art and news clippings, including some from the original
sales brochures for our town. As much as possible, Amy and Marian have used
vendors and artists from North Carolina and especially the Crystal Coast. Take
time to appreciate the truly local decor. Much of it came from their own homes

Shoreline Editor At Large Needed
We need a volunteer to join our friendly and professional editorial staff.
This position requires an average commitment of 4-5 flexible hours per
month, generally concentrated in the first half of the month. Articles are
reviewed and edited in Microsoft Word and are transmitted via email,
making this a perfect at-home opportunity. Candidates should have expertise
in grammar and punctuation and be capable of evaluating content for context
and syntax. This is a great way to contribute your time and talent to Pine
Knoll Shores and stay on top of activities in town. To learn more, please email
