December 2023 Angel Tree Project for the Children of Our Warriors The Parks and Recreation Committee and Kayak for the Warriors will once again sponsor a virtual Angel Tree to benefit the children of our warriors. We are soliciting donations that will go to providing Christmas for children of wounded warriors who are being serviced by the Steven A. Cohen Military Clinic in Jacksonville, which was started by Hope For The Warriors. All recipients will be vetted by Hope. Donations to our Angel Tree will be accepted until December 8. Checks made payable to Kayak for the Warriors with “Angel Tree Project” on the memo line may be placed in the drop box behind town hall or mailed to Angel Tree, Town of PKS, 100 Municipal Circle, Pine Knoll Shores, NC 28512.
