OUR NEV)/ Betty and George Kickey moved from Annandale, VA, to 119 Loblolly Drive in December. They were looking NEIGHBORS for a place to retire either in the mountains or on the coast. VJhen they sav/ Pine Knoll Shores they fell in love with it. A son had visited the Councils when he was in college, but they didn't know about that until they were ready to move into their home. George was Personnel Director of an agency to the Department of Argiculture. Betty was a programmer at Mitre Corporation. She wants to learn golf and to get back to playing bridge. Both said, ”We love to eat fish. Even though we never boated or fished, we*re looking forv/ard to learning to do both." George wants to pursue vegetable gardening which he loves. They have five sons. Doug lives in Springfield, VA, and works for the U.S. Post Office. Steven is a second lieutenant in the Army. He is now heading for Ft. Richardson near Anchorage, Alaska. Richard is a junior at Old Dominion, majoring in business. John is a 9th trader at TMI Academy at Sweetwater, Tennessee. Tony is in the th grade at Christ School at Arden near Ashville. Betty and Jim Wagner came here just before Christmas from West Hartford, Connecticut, where they had lived for 22 years, and now live at llS Beechwood Drive next door to the Crumleys. Jim was secretary in charge of Marketing Personnel in the home office of Travelers Insurance. In 1943, while in the Marines, he met Betty in Australia. They have known the Crumleys for a long time. They came to visit them three years ago and bought a lot, and built this year. They are also friends of the Hargroves. Jim likes to work in the yard, golf, tennis, and swim. Betty sold real estate for ten years. She likes tennis, golf, reading and swimming. They have a married son living in Australia. He and his wife are teachers. A married daughter lives in Dallas and another daughter works for Travelers and lives in Connecticut. Mary Kanyha and Joseph Henyecz moved from Somerville, New Jersey into 215 Salter Path Road on Christmas Eve. Joseph was Aerospace Maintainability-Reliability Engineer for Fairchild-Hill. He likes to play tennis, sailing, all kinds of outdoor sports and card games. Mary taught junior and senior high school math and coached swimmimg and tennis. She too enjoys all kinds of out door sports. They both became involved in lapidary when their son started collecting rocks. They joined a club and bought
