PUBLIC HEARING A public hearing is scheduled for Tuesday,
. . . . St 1:30 p.m., for the purpose of
receiving citizen input to a proposed moratorium in the con
struction of condominiums, or multi-family dwellings in Pine
Knoll Shores. All residents of the Town of Pine Knoll Shores
are urged to attend and make their views known to the Board
of Commissioners to assist them in making an appropriate
decision.
Also on the agenda will be a proposed ordinance concern
ing the installation of fire hydrants in the Town and the con
struction of sprinkler systems and standpipes in commercial
buildings.
Please plan to attend this hearing at 1:30 p.m., on
Tuesday, May 11, 19^2, at the Town Hall.
BOARD ADOPTS RESOLUTION
FOR BUILDING MORATORIUM
After lengthy discussion the Board of
Commissioners adopted a resolution at its
April 13 meeting declaring a moratorium on
the construction of condominiums in the Town.
The moratorium was proposed by Commissioner Bill Dixson and will
be subject to the expression of views by residents of the Town at a
Public Hearing scheduled for Tuesday, May 11, at 1:30 p.m. in the Town
