However, there have apparently been numerous complaints that this has been happening, particularly in the beach areas. The Ordinances also contain the following provision: DOGS **The owner or custodian of any dog over the age of six months shall, each year, register such dog with the Town Clerk, No dog shall be registered unless there is first exhibited to said Clerk a certificate of a practicing veterinarian of North Car^^na to the effect that said dog has been vaccinated against rabies within three years prior the date of application for registration, and each such dog shall display a tag indicating the date of vaccination.**
