In an interview with Andy McNally, the new Civil Preparedness Director, he made it
^^uite plain that all Pine Knoll Shores residents should know their area Civil Prepared
ness co-ordinators.
In the event of a hurricane or other townwide emergency, your Area co-ordinator is
authorized to ccnununicate with all residents in his area concerning hurricai^ warning
evacuation etc. He will be working through neighboirhood block captains. We need volun
teers for this work - it takes very little effort but is vital in times of emergency.
The main task is official communication from area co-oi:dinators to a given group of
neighbors concerning impending emergencies.

The Ancient Mariners, bowling league of Pine Kholl Shores, is presently making plans
^r the 1983-84 season to begin on October 3, 1983. Once again we will bowl at Bowlarena
BbwLING Western Blvd., Jacksonville, Any resident of Pine Knoll Shores is
eligible to become a substitute. Openings on the regular bowling teams are
filled from the substitute list. If you are interested in bowling with us this year, simply
