Page -6- Shortly before Thanksgiving Jack and Connie Anthony moved into their new home at 13^^ Loblolly Drive. When the construction work on the house was half way complete, Gloria came by, but fortunately the only damage they could find was some torn tar paper. They had wisely purchased the lot in 1972 but could not come here to live until Jack retired from the Industrial Systems Division of the Westinghouse Corporation, where he had been an electrical engineer. He was with the company for thirty-five years in Buffalo, New York. While there, his ^eat interest in history and genealogy took up a lot of his spare time, and he taught a genealogical course in an adult education night school. Connie also has become greatly interested in this field, and over the years they have acquired an unusually fine collection of genealogical and family history books. After they are settled here, they hope to pursue their hobby with the aid of a computtir. Before Jack retired, Connie was involved with occupational therapy in the Buffalo Children’s Hospital and worked as a volLBiteer for Good Will Industries with handicapped people. They have three children, one son and a daughter still living in Buffalo and another daughter in East Fairfield, Connecticut.
