FROM THE AQUARIUM
The Aquarium will be closed on Christmas Day and New Years Day but they have many
•interesting events scheduled for other days. Watch the papers and the bulletin boards
at the Town Hall and the Aquarium for the listings. They have field trips, workshops,
films and slide programs.
Regularly scheduled events include:
Behind-the-Scenes Tour
Learn about the operations of the Aquarium and investigate the behavior of sea turtles,
moray eels and mullet in this informative tour. A tour is scheduled each Friday at
11:00 a.m. Pre-registration required. Limit 15. For more information call

Behind-the-Glass
On selected days at 10:00 a.m. [Thursday, Saturday] an aquarium inhabitant is brought
to your attention behind-the-glass. Following this informal program the particular
animal will be fed. Informal yet informative.
Boque Banks Library Storytime
Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. the Aquarium co-sponsors a storytime in the auditorium.

Small Fry
This nature program with a marine emphasis is open to pre-schoolers [ages 4-6]. Field
excursions and indoor fun will open your youngster's eyes to the world outdoors. Pre
registration is required. December 8 and 22 at 10:00 a.m.
Touch and feel the spines of a purple urchin, look into the mouth of a seastar as the
Aquarium brings out the gentle touchable animals. December 13, 29, at 4:00 p.m.
A variety of programs and activities are available for interested Aquarium visitors
to enjoy. Films, field trips and workshops occur throughout the winter. For more infor

PKS FOOD CO-OP
The next order day for the Food Co-op will be Tuesday, January 24 with delivery
February 10.
