This was done. Johnson reported that some 8 8% of revenues has been collected and some 72% of expenditures has been spent as of this date. Only $599 of uncollected taxes remain for this fiscal year. The commissioners approved a budget amendment at his request, allowing for the deductable in insurance covering damages by the lightening storm. He then called on Corinne Geer, budget officer, to present the 89-90 budget message. The proposed budget is available at the office during working hours for your persual. There will be a budget hearing at 1:30 PM on ^ine 13th. Commissioner Roderick, in making his report, asked that boat and trailer owners using the parking space behind the Town Hall please register at the office if they have not already done so. As announced at the Board meeting in April, THOSE NOT IDENTIFIED BY MAY 15th will be considered abandoned and will be disposed of. Roderick also reported that spraying for mosquitoes is about to start and repavement of some streets is in the works. Mowing of town streets' right-of-way and of Route 58 will be done once every three weeks. He is still trying to get the DOT to take care of the ditches. Commissioner Shedd introduced Fred Fulcher, new Building Inspector, who has been on duty since May 1st. The April Building Inspection report showed 6 residential permits, 6 miscellaneous permits and 1 certificate of occupancy. Shedd also reported that the Planning Board has recommended adoption of the changes proposed by Art Browne at the hearing on the model zoning ordinance. There are three. TOWN OF PINE KNOLL SHORES.
