New Organization
Forming to
Support Jazz

beach music. It looks as
if nfiore jazz will heard and played
in Eastem North Carolina than
ever before. The Coastal Jaz?
Society will hold its first
organizational meeting in Beaufort
on Thursday, September 24, at
7:00 PM at the Maritinfie Museum
Auditorium.
The guest speaker will be Peter
Ingram, jazz musician and Vice
President of the North Carolina
Jazz Network. Also attending will
be Tom The Jazzman of WTEB,
National Public Radio, Ben Ball,
former producer of Nite Jazz for
KAT103, Bruce Naegelen,
Program Manager, KAT 103,
John Sturman, NC Jazz Network.
Space in the Maritime Museum's
Auditorium is limited, so reserve
