express my appreciation
to the ladies at Town

SONNET TO A
TOWN - 1993
Long ago, when Pine
Knoll Shores b^an,
and lots stood empty
on the sea and sound.
Some of us were
thinking of a plan to
make a paradise of
what we'd found.
We met together,
feeling strong and
proud, and figured how
to get right on the
map.
The word went out to
all, quite clear and
loud;
And we incorporated in
a snap.
We picked our trusty
leaden: they were
great!
A real town were we,
just like our dreams -
We're sure we are the
best one in the Sute,
And others look to us
to lead, it seems.
And now, admist the
sounds of hearty
cheers.
Let's look ahead to
another
TWENTY YEARS!
