was a gentle one, which I needed

November, as Marilyn
Lindblad bowled a game
of 224 without handicap and.
Bob Gallo, a 235 game. Duke
Foulk's team remains in first
place, with AI Van Essendelft's in
close second. Who'll be number
one next month?
The league is still in need of
substitute bowlers, so if you are
interested in being a part of these
flin-filled Monday afternoons, give
our secretary , Dot Herbst, a call
at 247-2879. We'd love to have

Hurricane Time is Overl
Women's Club
The Pine Knoll Shores Women's
Club will meet at town hall on
January 28th. Social hour will
begin at 9:30 AM followed by the
regular meeting. Guest Speakers
will be Richard and Carolyn Evans
from the Carteret County "Litde
Theater." They will perform
scenes from one of their plays,
"The King Fisher."

We have completed another
hurricane season and I want to
thank all those that participated.
This program requires a lot of
people including: 1. Area
Coordinators; 2. Assistant Area
Coordinators; 3. Block Captains;
4. Assistant Block Captains;
5. Communication Assistants;
6. Deputy of Operations;
7. Deputy of Communications;
8. Deputy of Damage and
Estimates; 9. Plus fiill
cooperation from the Police
Department and the Emergency
Medical Squad.
All of these groups are required to
make this program work and their
help is truly appreciated.
