MEET YOUR NEIGHBORS
Pat Brooks moved into 121 Mimosa
Blvd. in mid-April and put up a
pretty "High" fence to contain her
two large, beautiful show dogs, an
English cocker named Cappy and an
Irish setter called Tris. Pat and
her late husband used to show dogs
all over the country and have many,
many cups, trophies and ribbons
that they've won over the years.
Pat was born in Henderson, NC, and
she married and moved to Tucker,
Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta, GA.
They had three children; Glenn, who
lives in Texas; Ellen, who lives in
Norcross, GA; and Melissa, the
single one attending the University
of Georgia Law School. She has one
granddaughter and one grandson.
Pat never worked outside of the
home, but she did run an antique
gift shop (for fun) . She has many
gorgeous antiques.
When she was young, she came to
Atlantic Beach for vacations. When
she married, they came on vacation
as a fcimily, and one year ago she
brought her daughter and son-in-law
to Pine Knoll Shores to vacation
and found the area still laid back
and beautiful. She said, "This is
where I want to be!
"Welcome"Home", Pat.
