Ernestine Conway, Librarian HELCOHE NEH NEIGHBORS Bill and Connie Brophy just moved into their lovely home at 104 Acorn Court on November 4. They relocated here from Wash- ingtonville in Orange County, NY. Bill was a captain in the NY State Troopers, now retired, and Connie, who is an RN, was a college in structor and public health nurse. They have two daughters, Shana, who lives in Houston, Texas and works for the Windham Corp. as a sales manager. Pat, who is a 3rd mate in the Merchant Marines. She just graduated from the Maritime College at Fort Schuyler, NY. Bill and Connie came our way via a trip to Fairfield Harbor. They wanted the ocean so they bought a condo at Southwinds. When Bill re tired, they came to their dream area. Pine Knoll Shores, and bought their home. Bill is interested in just about everything, but especially rowing. He belongs to the Beaufort Oars, a rowing group. He is also a wood- carver, boat builder and sailor. Connie loves to cook and shares Bill's enthusiasm for the water; boating, sailing and fishing. When I asked them how they like it here, they said that they love it. "As if you died and went to heaven," says Connie. We welcome them. Judy Poit Iryma and Billy Webb moved into their home at 522 Egret Lake Drive, Beacons Reach, with a fabulous view over the Lake, in September, 1993. They came from Winston Salem. Iryma is a native North Carolinian originally from Rocky Mount. Billy is from Tennessee. 6
