APRIL BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS MEETING
TOWN MEETING
The Water Committee has called a Town Meeting for June 6, 1995, at
7:00 p.m. at the Town Hall. The latest developments with Carolina Water
Service will be presented.
N. C. AQUARIUM
Food Service at the Aquarium was approved by a 4 to 1 vote of the
Board of Commissioners.
FY 95-96 BUDGET
The budget for FY 95-96 will be presented to the Board of
Commissioners at the May meeting. No tax increase is foreseen.
WASTE INDUSTRIES
A new contract with Waste Industries will provide twice a week garbage
pickup and once a week recycling during the months of June, July and
August.
TOWN FLAG
Cindy and Richard Willis presented a flag with the Town Seal to the
Mayor and Town Board.
HONORED
Gil Millington was recognized for 15 years service to PKS EMS with a
plaque.
