BOGUE BANKS PUBLIC LIBRARY Common-Sense Investment Guide by The book sale at the library on March 25 was very successful. If you could not attend this sale, there will be another one held in August. Our thanks go to everyone who donated books or helped with the sale. A donation has been given to the library by Regional Children's Li brarian, Ann Johnston, to be used for the purchase of a book in memo ry of Jo Cox. A donation has also been given by the Pine Knoll Shores Garden Club for the purchase of a book on gardening in honor of Ken and Yola Hanan. The Hanans will be moving from Pine Knoll Shores. These people have given much sup port to the library over the years in their time and effort. We appre ciate this very much. In our auditorium for the months of May and June, will be hung works in mixed media by David 0'Kelly and Myles Lobdell. In the display cabi nets will be Indian artifacts col lected by Al Schmidt. Please come by and enjoy. Yola & Ken Hanan WELCOME NEW NEIGHBORS Marty and Charlotte Bourdeau moved into their lovely new home at 10 Fairways Court on July 27, 1994. Charlotte is originally from Havelock and Marty from Plattsburgh, NY. Marty is in the Marines and has been stationed in Korea and Japan. Currently, he is assigned to New River. Charlotte is an elementary school teacher. When Marty and Charlotte returned from his tour in Japan, Charlotte took a new position as school librarian in an elementary school in Havelock. She is currently working on her Masters 4
