BUDGET MESSAGE The proposed budget and message for FY 1995-96 was presented. A Public Hearing will be held prior to the regular Town Board meeting on June 13 at 2:00 p.m. A copy of the document is available for review by the public at Town Hall. WASTE INDUSTRIES An amendment to Waste Industries 3 year contract for FY 1995-96 was passed unanimously by the Board. POLICE .n. . Two vacancies in the Police Department are being filled by Reserve Officers Christie Stanley and Joe Culpepper. BXJRNING ORDINANCE Because of a conflict between the State Fire Code and the Town Ordinance on burning, the Commissioners voted to have the Planning Board review the Town Ordinance and bring it in line with the State Code. SPEAKER 11^ Neuse River Council of Governments Executive Director, David Galati, ■■ spoke on the goals of his organization and the reason for its existence.
