WELCOME NEW NEIGHBORS The house at McNeil Jnlet, 194 Oakleaf Drive, on the sound, has finally been sold to a charming young couple who will use it as a weekend-summer retreat. Seems they'll give it "TLC" . Susan and D. R. Brian reside in Holly Springs, NC, outside Raleigh, where D. R. is a real estate developer of huge, residential, 600 unit sub-division. He is also a lawyer having graduated from Wake. Susan lived many years in Wilmington, NC and had a summer condo on Wrightsville Beach. D.R. was raised in Rocky Mount, NC. they have lived in Wilmington, Rocky Mount, Winston Salem and now. Holly Springs. Susan lived for 1 1/2 years in Morehead as a youngster and always loved the area. They have two children, a very pretty 16-year-old daughter who will be a senior, and a 14 year old son, Paul, who will be a freshman. Susan loves to walk and enjoys reading. She's glad we have a library. D.R. enjoys running and boating. They all love the beach and hope to get down here permanently as soon as they can. Susan's mother and dad have a bid on a house on Oakleaf --if all goes well, they will be joining us shortly. Betty Lee Foulk The big brick house at the comer of Mimosa and Hawthorne, 157 Hawthorne Drive, has finally been moved into on May 24. Virginia and Frank Tutza are the proud owners. Virginia was born and grew up in Packanack Lake, NJ, and Frank in Belleville, NJ. They have moved all over with Frank's work in the wood and forestiry business. The final move was from Danville, VA. Virginia was a 6th grade teacher of reading, English, social studies, and history. Frank is in sales of building materials in the wood line. He was offered a job at Atlantic Veneer in Beaufort after retiring, a job he couldn't refuse. They bought a condo at Island Beach and Racquet Club, liked it in this area so much they decided to build in PKS. They have two children; Susan, who is married to Rich, and has their one and only two-year-old grandson, Zachary, in Raleigh. Susan is a technical writer and editor. Their son, Larry, is also in Raleigh where he owns a computer consulting firm. He is unmarried. Virginia loves to read and work out, but most of all to garden inside and out. Frank enjoys read ing, hunting, fishing and cooking. Virginia is also into genealogy, has been tracing her family tree. In Danville, they helped organize, the Danville free clinic. Frank was on the Board of Direc- tors. Virginia interviewed appli- cants. They have an English Springer, liver and white, AKC registered, with the moniker of "Diamond in the Rough." they call him Duffy for short. Betty Lee Foulk Stacey Veroa moved into her home at 137 Lagoon Lane in McGinnis Point about a year ago from Malverne, Long Island, New York. She previously worked in sales and marketing of internal and dom estic tours for municipal organiza tions and for corporate incentive trips. She is temporarily retired and enjoying life in Pine Knoll Shores but keeps her options open. Several years' ago, Stacey visited friends in McGinnis Point and she fell in love with the area. Stacey, a widow, has three children; twin sons, one in New York and one in Atlanta and a daughter in Lexington, KY. She has two grandsons. A beautiful baby grand piano sits majestically in the livingroom and Stacey is presently taking 5
