ocean near Ocean City where Mary Jo spent many happy times. Roqer and Mary Jo vacationed in this area. She was drawn back to the ocean. They have four children: Roger, Jr. in Atlanta; Jennifer, who is married and has two sons in Tallahassee; Duane in Rocky Mount, VA and^k Stephanie who is married with one son and lives in Ferrum, Va In all they have three grandsons to brighten their lives. ' Mary Jo loved the trees around her Smith Mountain Lake home and her new home on Arborvitae is also surrounded by trees. She calls it her "tree house" by the shore. Judging by the baskets and wood objects around the house, Mary Jo is a very talented person. Judy Poit Dot and Ron Manion have recently moved into one of the three new homes being built in the first little loop, right off Oakleaf Drive. Their home is right alongside the 16th tee. Dot and Ron have moved here from Warminster, PA. Ron was an Air Force Pilot, serving as commander of the C130 Squadron. Ron just retired as Lt. Colonel in the Air Force Reserve, and from GE Aerospace in'King of Prussia, PA. Dorothy had a full-time job raising their seven children. Ron Jr., in Collegeville, PA, has two daughters. Michael in Dublin, PA, has one son. ^ Timmy in Rushland, PA, has two daughters and one son. David in Warminster, PA, has one daughter and two sons. Patti Ann Kennedy in Chalfont, PA, is married but has no children. Megan Kratochwill in Hanover, MD. has two sons and is expecting number 3. Kathleen Manion, in Chalfont, PA is not married. That makes 11 grandchildren plus one due any day. The Manions vacationed in this area for 13 years and fell in love with it and retired here. Ron loves to golf, belongs to the Cherry Point Golf, course and soon to BBCC. Dot wants to get back into playing golf. ' Betty Lee Foulk Pat and Willie Kilian have moved into their new home on June 23rd at 104 Hickory Court on top of the hill. They moved from Roanoke Rapids, NC. Pat was born and raised in Akron, OH and Willie was originally from Ridgeway, NC. Willie was attending college in Raleigh and met Pat at a dance there while she was visiting relatives. After they married, they lived in Richmond, VA, Williamston, NC and finally Roanoke Rapids. They have two children; a son Ricky and wife Amy, who live in Greensboro, NC and a daughter, Caterina, who is a nurse in Lynchburg, VA. Willie worked for Virginia Electric Power Company's branch in North Carolina in marketing, rates and contracts. Pat was a housewife and "mommie." She worked a few part-time jobs but mainly stayed at home. They found PKS by vacationing here the past 25 years and bought their lot in 1990 with the intent to retire here. Willie has just retired but travels back to Roanoke Rapids every week to cut the lawn and tend their house which hasn't sold as yet. Pat enjoys ceramics and handicrafts, while Willie likes to garden and do yard work, fish, hunt and walk. He also enjoys photography. When all settled in he'd like to take up golf once more.
