BE A GOOD NEIGHBOR The garbage dumpsters placed at parks, marinas, and at condominiums are for the sole use of the people who live in or have the use of those areas. If you are leaving town and looking for a place to deposit your trash, please arrange to have a neighbor put it out on the right of way for you. The disposal site at Newport is open for dropping off of garbage, if you have a large amount to dispose of, and won't be here to get it out. For information about pickup of appliances no longer being used, call Waste Industries (223-4176), and they will put you on their pickup list and tell you when the truck will be in the area. The Holiday season is upon us. With all the holiday festivities, taxes may become the last thing on your minds- The Finance Department appreciates your prompt response to your tax bills. Remember, January 5th is the last day to pay taxes without a penalty. Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas. Connie G.
