MARCH BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS MEETING
PUBLIC HEARING
A public hearing was held prior to the Town Board meeting on March 11, 1997, to
consider changes and additions to the Town Code of Ordinances regarding dry stack storage
for boats, street lighting in new subdivisions and a Stormwater Management Plan for new
subdivision development. After listening to comments from several citizens, the Board voted
against the street lighting in new subdivisions. It was decided a study of all street lighting in
Town should be done. The ordinances on dry stack storage for boats and the Stormwater
Management Plan for new subdivision development were approved unanimously.

The FEMA approved Dune Restoration of 4200 linear feet in front of Atlantis Lodge and
Pine Knoll Townes has been completed. The Town will be reimbursed for the cost of this
