occurring on the same day in some instances. Andrea graduated from Roger Williams College in Rhode Island, Brigitte from the University of Massachusetts, Chris from Paier College in Connecticut, Diana from Bay Path college in Massachusetts and Ed from Sienna College in Albany, New York. Fran and Barbara know Lorraine Kiel through a church group in Connecticut. When Lorraine moved to Pine Knoll Shores, they came to visit her and loved the area. They joined Lorraine for her first Thanksgiving in PKS. Fran is a very talented man. His home reflects his woodworking expertise. The cherry woodwork and kitchen cabinets are extraordinary. He and his brother and his brother's son built their lovely home. He plays the organ, paints in watercolors, makes bread from scratch, makes his own wine and still finds time to walk the beach. Barbara knits, arranges flowers and joins him in enjoying the beach. W'hen 1 asked them if they had any special thoughts on Pine Knoll Shores, they said "We love it. It is Paradise." We welcome them. Judy Poit Reverend John and Donna Crowe have moved into the parsonage at 581 Coral Ridge Drive in Beacon's Reach. Rev. John is the pastor of the Salter Path United Methodist Church. He was born in La Grange, Illinois, and was the pastor of the Franklin Memorial United Methodist Church in Morehead City before being offered the position in Salter Path. Donna was born in Ridgeway, Virginia. She has a PhD in Social Psychology from Duke University and is currently a part-time professor of Psychology at Park College at Cherry Point. Rev. John is currently pursuing his Doctor of Divinity degree, making three trips a year to Kentucky to complete his studies. They have two darling sons, David, 6, and James, 4, as well as a black cat, Mimi and a sheltie named Mandy. Rev. John is a busy man. Besides serving the Salter Path church parishioners, he is on the Board of Directors for Carteret County Community Action, Secretary of the Carteret County Ministerial Association, and is busy on his computer. He even finds time for reading and enjoying the amenities of Beacon's Reach. Donna, besides being a homemaker and part-time professor, is interest in writing. She is a member of the Carteret Writers Group and is busy helping an author revise a book, a Christian romance. They consider it a real blessing to be a part of the Salter Path United Methodist Church. They tell me the choir in the church is extraordinary, with a reputation which draws tourists to the church from miles away to hear them sing. We welcome them to Pine Knoll Shores.
