Looking for something you can really sink your teeth into this summer? The NORTH-CAROLINA '^‘^^^'’ium has just AQUARIUMS . . ^ Beginnmg June 16, bring your friends and family to the Aquarium to learn about sharks and reptiles. Each Tuesday is Shark Day and each Thursday is Reptile Day. Films, programs, crafts, learning stations and discovery carts focus on these interesting animals, and natural relics such as jaws, shells, skins, skulls, egg cases and live specimens let you get a real feel for the creature in question. Another popular summer activity is "The Tooth About Fossils." Visitors can dig into the Aquarium's new on-site fossil pit, and staff members are on hand to help identify finds. Exhibits, handouts and booklets are also available. Best of all, fossil hunters get to keep their booty. The program is free; however, advance registration is required. For a complete list of summer programs, stop by the Aquarium and pick up a summer calendar. Hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. 25TH ANNIVERSARY On Friday, August 14, 1998, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., the Town will celebrate its 25th anniversary of incorporation.
