Pc: ie "Carteret County Law Enforcement Officer's Association" will hold its 3rd annual awards night on* January 6, 1999. The awards are presented to Carteret County Law Enforcement Officers who during the past year have gone beyond the call of duty and have earned recognition for their actions. Pine Knoll Shores Officers' Donald Collins and Tyron Mann will be honored at this ceremony. Congrats to our Officers! The Pine Knoll Shores Police Department will once again participate in the state wide "Click It or Ticket" and "Booze It and Lose It" campaigns. We are a part of the Law Enforcement Task Force that works to keep our highways and streets safe! Our checkpoints have resulted in felony arrests for narcotics, handguns, stolen property, revoked licenses, DWI's and other violations. We realize that these checkpoints may be an inconvenience for those legal drivers, but these checkpoints WORK to keep you safe. Submitted by: Police Chief Maty Muhlig
