County Public Library
News of Events:
While repair work continues on the
hurricane-damaged Bogue Banks Public
Librat7, patrons are urged to use the
Carteret County Public Library in Beaufort
and the Emerald Isle Branch Library in
Emerald Isle. The Bogue Banks Library
will re-open as soon as possible, but
during this time of ongoing repairs,
workers will be coming and going as each
task requires. For that reason, the library
cannot be open to the public. The outside
Bookdrop can be used for book returns.

Democratic Precinct meeting will
be held on Tuesday, March 16 at 7:00
p.m. in Town Hall. Delegates will be
selected for the Carteret County
Democratic convention to be held this
year on April 17. The Democratic
County Democratic convention will in
turn elect delegates to the District
Convention to be held on May 22.
There will be ample opportunity at the
precinct meeting to express ideas on
issues, candidates and party goals.

the annual Democratic fund-raising
dinner, will be held this year on April
24, at the Raleigh Hilton hotel.
