Page 8 The Shoreline March 1999 MEET YOUR NEW NEIGHBORS Diana and Buddy Thomas have moved into 108 Arborvitae Drive. They moved here from Arlington, VA. They first bought a condo at Dunescape 3 years' ago as an investment and moved here when they retired in September 1997. They then decided to stay in PKS and bought their home in June and moved into it In September. Diana and Buddy have a quaint love story. They are fairly "newlyweds" being married six years' ago. Seems they were originally high school sweethearts and got engaged, but broke up and went different ways marrying different spouses. They met again at their 30th class reunion in 1989 and started to date and finally, after all those years, reunited in Happy Matrimony. Buddy has his own business as a plumbing contractor in Arlington, VA. Diana worked for B.D.M. International. Diana has a daughter, Lori, married to David Jarboe. They have 3 children and live in Houston, TX. Her son, Larry, is married to Lisa. They also have 3 children and live in Fredericksburg, VA. Totaling 6 grandchildren and 1 step grandchild. Buddy has a son, Walter the 3rd, who is not married. He lives in Centerville, VA. Diana showed American quarter horses all over the central east coast. She also enjoys water sports, playing golf and bowling. Buddy enjoys playing golf, fishing, bowling and walking the beach. They bought each other a puppy for Christmas. She is a 3-month old Havanese called Mitzi. She is a new breed just recognized by the American Kennel Association originating in Spain and brought over to Cuba. She is an absolutely adorable ball of fur and so tiny. Submitted by: Betty Lee Foulk Mary Jane and Andrew "Andy" Munch moved into their lovely home at 106 Live Oak Court last November. They had lived in Stonybrook, Long Island, New York. Mary Jane taught English and Andy taught Languages until they retired. They have a son who was stationed at Camp LeJeune, NC, and each time they visited him they looked for houses in the area finally settling on PKS for their home. Mary Jane and Andy have 6 children and 15 grandchildren. They are located all over the US but they do have one son who lives in Swansboro. He is an attorney in Jacksonville. Mary Jane's brother, Joe Clarke, and his wife, Dolores, have a home on Loblolly Drive. Although they are still living and working on Long Island, they spend as much time as possible in PKS. Andy loves sailing and fishing. He has a sailboat, which demands his attention, but someday he would like to play golf. Mary Jane loves to read and travel. They both were drawn here by the proximity of the ocean. They just love their beautiful "Live Oak Court" neighborhood and I am sure the neighbors welcome them. Submitted by: Judy Poit
