Hemlock Court and Marie Scott of Arborvitae Drive. Plans are being finalized for the club's 25th anniversary celebration at Town Hall on May 21 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The party will be preceded at 1:30 p.m. by the dedication of the new garden in front of Town Hall to the memory of Peg and Lee Hereth. The pickup date for the annual Plant Sale is April 16 from 10:00 a.m. till 12:00 noon, the place in front of Town Hall. In addition to the begonias, impatiens, vinca, verbena, and geraniums that are ordered, herbs will be available for purchase - basil, chives, dill, oregano, parsley, rosemary, sage, tarragon and thyme. A hint from Environmental Chairman Joan Smith - Keep your peat moss lying on its side outside where rain will moisten it, even scooping out a hole in the middle to catch the water. If not dampened, dry peat moss will wick away moisture from your plant roots.
