They had H Garden City, Long Island, New York, where Art owned a Ui manufacturing business in New Hyde Park. For the past twelve years, they have lived on Sand Key, on the Gulf of Mexico, just south of Clearwater Beach, Florida. Dee has four children, three girls and one boy. She also has nine grandchildren, two granddaughters and seven grandsons. One of her granddaughters is at Brigham Young University and is studying medicine. Art has two children, a boy and a girl. He also has three grandchildren, two granddaughters and one grandson. Art and Dee came to visit Jack Doyle on Sycamore Drive. They had been friends up north along with the Zipfs on Beechwood Drive. Actually Art and Dee were thinking that they would like to relocate to a golf community in the mountains but when they saw PKS, they were sold. They bought a piece of property as an investment and returned to Florida. Someone made them an offer on their condo in Sand Key that they couldn't refuse, so they decided to start building on their PKS property immediately. Besides being a wonderful community, it is also half way between their children, some of whom are in Florida and some up north. Both Dee and Art play golf so they joined the Bogue Banks Country Club and the Morehead City Country Club. Dee usually plays 18 holes and sometimes plays an additional 9 with Art. Dee loves the beach and walking the beach. She immediately joined the Sports Center. Art loves fishing. They both have traveled extensively and continue to travel. They can't say enough about their contractors, "Home Builders," Bobby Harrington, Len Furtner and George Brown, and their beautiful home substantiate their praise.
