Tliese members were asked to remain for anotlier term, all agreed to return for another term except Beal Marks. Beal has been on the Planning Board for several years and has served as Chairman for a majority of that time. Beal has served the Town well. Alternate member, Thomas Tempel will move up to the full member position. This will leave an alternate position available. Planning Board members serve two (2) year terms. The Chairman of the Planning Board shall be selected by the Board of Commissioners from among the members of the Planning Board, and shall serve a one (1) year term. Two members agreed to serve another term. Two members declined - Barbara Flynt and Bill Poit. Both have served more than one term and feel the need to decline the offer. Alternate members Margaret Precht and Hoot Gibson will move up to full member positions and two new alternates will be named. Community Appearance Commission members serve three (3) year terms. The Commission shall elect a Chairman annually from its membership. The members receive no compensation for their service. There are many activities just getting under way that you can sign up for at the next meeting. Friday, October 22, 9:30 a.m. at the Town Hall is the date and the place. The speaker will be Tom Foster owner of "My Chef, Inc." Annual dues of $15 will still be accepted and membership is open to any woman living in PKS.
