What’s New; Thanks to the efforts of the Bogue Banks Friends of th
Libraiy, our collection of books on tape continues to grow. New ficti
titles include
“Sahara” by Clive Cussler, “The Empty Chair” by Jeffrey Deaver an
Third “Option” by Vince Flynn. Non-fiction titles now found in our col
from Garrison Keillor and The Prarie Home Companion series are
“Garrison-Keillor’s Comedy Theatre” and-Pretty Good Joke Tape”.
Featured Artists for October: Featured in the Art Gallery - a selectio
large and small watercolors by well known Emerald Isle artist, Mari
The showcases this month will display a collection of colorful, hand-
painted trays and ornaments by decorative painter, Dorothy Wilson
Beaufort.
Reception for Artists: Friday, October 11th at 3:30 p.m. in the librar
Gallery. This reception is sponsored by the Friends of the Library,
and visit with the artists and enjoy their works. Light refreshments w
served. The reception is free and open to the public.
Activities for Children: Preschool Storytimes will be held each Mond
10:30 a.m. This program is conducted by Miss Ernestine.
