May 2005 The Shoreline Page 11 Charlie and Olga Welch and George and Lorraine Herman recently returned from a 14- day sea odyssey on the Celebrity Line cruise ship, The Zenith. Embarking from Jacksonville, Florida, they toured the Western Caribbean with stops at Cozumel, Honduras, Puerto Limon, Costa, Georgetown, Grand Caymans and Key West. Highlights of the trip included a tour through the rain forest and bird sanctuaries of Puerto Limon and a visit to the Gatlin Locks of the Panama Canal. The stop at Cozumael included travel on a unique craft, which had seats that were below the water level with glass for viewing the Paradise Reef, colorful coral and fish formations. At Key West, points of interest included the Hemingway house, Audubon house, the Naval Base and famous Duval Street. Lunch and cold beers were enjoyed at Sloppy Joes Bar and Eatery. After disembarking at Jacksonville they wended their way north. Hours later they were sitting in Luigi’s Pizza parlor and enjoying what? A pizza of course. J.D. and Julia Woolard became great grandparents in January. Their granddaughter Blake and husband Robert are the proud parents of Johnson Brown Rigg Kinsey, born January 27. Blake is the daughter of Jodie and Lynn Woolard who have a vacation home in Sea Isle. . :|c ^ It may not look like it to the naked eye, but Dot and Ron Manion testify to the fact that that is a frog nestled inside this blossom in the garden outside their home off the 16“' tee at Bogue Banks. Ron snapped this photo of Ferdinand the Frog resting nicely inside its flowery bower. The blossom doesn’t seem to mind having a frog in its throat, and the frog apparently doesn’t have any problems with allergies. Can you find the frog?
