May 2005 The Shoreline Page 7 Local Resident Graduates From Realtor Institute Ted Goetzinger of Pine Knoll Shores Realty recently earned the professional designation, “Graduate, Realtor Institute, signifying mastery of an intense training program of classroom instruction. The Realtor Institute is co-sponsored by the North Carolina Real Estate Educational Foundation and the North Carolina Assoc, of Realtors and has been offered several times annually since 1948. It was the first of its kind in the United States and has served as a model for numerous other states. Ted is one of a select group of North Carolina Real Estate Professionals who currently hold this designation. Swing Away at BBCC For a Worthy Cause There’s still time to sign up for the Island Cove Open Golf Tournament Saturday, May 21, at Bogue Banks Country Club. Proceeds will go to a truly worthy cause - Martha’s Mission Cupboard. Four-player teams will square off in a superball format with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. The cost is $45 per player covering golf, cart, tournament favor, gift bag, on-course snacks, post-play barbecue and plenty of prizes. Form your own team or tournament organizers will find a spot on a team for you. Team and tee and green sponsorships are available. He will also be missed as an active member of Bogue Banks Country Club as well as the Shepherd of the Sea Lutheran Church in Atlantic Beach. Len also served his community as a board member of the Pine Knoll Association. He was always ready to lend his accounting experience and expertise to community endeavors. Many will miss his steadfast, cheerful presence.
