LIBRARY HOMES TOUR. April 16.
The Friends of the Western Carteret
Library will hold the fourteenth annual ■
Homes and Garden Tour. All homes
and gardens featured are located in the
western end of Carteret County. New
this year will be an Arts & Crafts Show
and Sale and a used book sale at the
Western Carteret Library on the same
day as the tours. A single ticket price,
$15 in advance or $18 on tour day, will
include admission to all of these events
as well as the private properties not
normally open to the public. For more

NATIVE PLANT FESTIVAL. April 16,
8 a.m.- 4 p.m. Location: NC Coastal
Federation, 3609 Highway 24, about
halfway between Morehead City and
Swansboro. Festival goers will enjoy
thousands of native plants for sale,
planting demonstrations, rain garden
instruction, rain barrels for sale, local
artists and craftsmen, and refreshments.
