All ages came out in numbers to cel
ebrate Independence Day at the Pine
Knoll Shores Fourth of July Parade.
Bicycles, scooters, golf carts and par
ticipants were decked out in red, white
and blue. Everyone had a fine time
and enjoyed watermelon in the park
after the parade. A special thank you
to Martha Edwards for organizing this

Full Moon Paddle

Friends and neighbors gathered at McNeill Park on June 20 for a full moon summer solstice
paddle through the Pine Knoll Shores canals and along the sound. Paddlers will gather on
August 18 and September 16 for two more paddles. Grab your kayak, canoe or paddleboard

Pine Knoll Shores resident BJ Peter and her daughter
Jeannie and two grandchildren attended the Evening
Parade at the Marine Corps War Memorial (also known as
the Iwo Jima Memorial) in Arlington, Virginia, in mid-July.
While there, she met First Lieutenant Jak Kramer, pictured
here with BJ, who is the son of Pine Knoll Shores Town
Manager Brian Kramer. Jak is assigned to the Marine
