Campers from Camp Albemarle
in Newport enjoyed a sail across
Bogue Sound to the Beacon’s
Reach Marina in Pine Knoll
Shores in mid-July. This year
only one sail across was possible
because there was no wind on
the day scheduled for the second
sail. These lucky campers who
were able to make it across
enjoyed some time at the beach
before heading back across the
sound.—Photos by David Shapiro
