PKS Christmas Caroling By Kathy Falandys Tilyard The fifth annual Pine Knoll Shores ^ Christmas Carol Sing is planned for Tuesday, December 13, at 4:45 p.m., beginning at Garner Park. Those who went caroling last • year in Pine Knoll Shores had a great time, ^ and the folks we visited clearly appreciated jk it. We make every effort to go to the homes * of shut-ins or those who live alone, and it is amazing how many there are. It is an informal gathering, and aU are welcome. One need not have a good voice—only a good heart. Let’s continue a great Pine Knoll Shores tradition by inviting friends and guests to join us as we bring joy to others who will love the treat. Please call those you wish to visit in advance to prepare them for our visit, and send your list with the addresses to Susan Toms at witoms@hotmail.com. She will organize our route. Also, bring a list of those names with you when we meet on the 13th. We will have Christmas music handouts. Wear antlers or Santa hats, bring bells, and dress in your holiday fun outfit—and if it is cold, dress warmly. Also, please bring a flashlight. We hope to see you at Garner Park on December 13. We will have hot chocolate and cookies afterward, and if you wish to bring some goodies to share, that’s good, too. If you are interested or would like more information, contact Kathy Falandys Tilyard at Katcoast@gmail.com or at 247-7221. Mark your calendar so you don’t forget this community event. 30 The Shoreline I December 2016
