2016 Fishing Hall of Fame
The family of Pine Knoll Shores residents Bill and Joan Flexman visited from Duke Center, Pennsylvania, in July
2016, and had some nice catches to feature in our fishing hall of fame. Pictured here (clockwise from left) are
grandson Owen Flexman with two nice founder caught in the turning basin, grandson Ethan Flexman with a four-
foot shark caught off the beach at Ocean Park, daughter-in-law Jodi Flexman with a flounder caught at McNeill
Park, and son Scott Flexman with a nice Spanish mackerel caught near shore—Photps courtesy of Bill Flexman
We need your help!
Our neighborhood parks are in need
of a makeover!
The Parks and Recreation Committee is raising funds to
transform our parks into places at which children want
to play! Current playground euipment is sadly in need of
repair and updates. With new equipment the parks will be
areas that children and grandchildren will enjoy.
