PKS Fire Auxiliary
Car Wash a Success
By Teddy Wimberley, Auxiliary Secretary
The Pine Knoll Shores Fire Auxiliary held its annual car wash at the Pine
Knoll Shores fire station on May 27. Fire Auxiliary members, their families, town
residents and homeowners, volunteer
firemen and on-duty firemen worked
together to make the car wash a huge
success.
Thanks to the support of residents
and visitors to the area who brought in
their cars to be washed, the donations-
only event resulted in 34 cars being
washed for a total of $735 in donations.
During the car wash, the auxiliary
also sold the newly designed and
popular Pine Knoll Shores Fire
Department t-shirts for an additional
$200 in proceeds. The t-shirts are
available in a wide variety of sizes
(youth sizes small through large and
adult sizes through XXX large) for $20
each. Support your local Fire Department by stopping by the public safety building
to get yours today. /
A hearty thank you is extended to all who helped to make this annual event a
