Florence Pittendreigh and Alice Hill Carroll will attend a (I believe) Y.W.- C.A. Conference in Winston-Salem this week. Have a nice time, and if you can get any cigarettes at the factory, don’t forget Ye Reporter (and Ye Ed., too.) Will someone please either call up or give Lucille Booker one alarm clock. She’s been workng so late these nights that it is difficult for her to rise and shine on time. On second thought, may be some breakfast would help. No Wheaties, please. Poor Jane Reynolds!*??! It seems as though she has to slide down the hill from Nantucket to the Rayon Mill for First Aid Treating, etc., at precisely 2:40 p, m. Inasmuch as she leaves at 2:39, it is a perilous trip. A pair of skates, sled, or other wheeled conveyance, would manage to help her at least catch up with her breath within 20 minutes after arriving. Also wanted, one tow car to pull said nurse up same hill. V . . . — Finishing Mill By Beulah McBride Pfc. James B.
