Absenteeism
Beginning in this issue we will, dur
ing the next several weeks, endeavor
to show by means of the “Absentee
Meter” just how each mill stands in
this matter. Figures are from official
records. Absenteeism is a serious busi
ness, a serious offense against your
fellow workers and against your em
ployer.
If your mill has a high percentage of
absenteeism in this issue, let’s see
what can be done about it before the
next “Absentee Meter” is printed.
