Put all your troubles there. Hide therein all of your failures. And each bitter cup you quaff; Lock all your heart-aches within it. Then sit on the lid and laugh. Tell no one of its contents. Never its secrets share; Drop in your cares and worries. Keep them forever there. Hide them from sight so completely. The world will never dream half; Fasten the top down securely, Then sit on the lid and laugh. —Anonymous. Classes in Physical Testing As part of their training in Vocation al School a series of classes in Physical Testing has been inaugurated by Mar shall Field & Company. The first class was started on Janu ary 18th and Vocational School students are showing much interest in this novel addition to their training. The course, which is under the direc tion of J. F. Byrd, head of Physical and Chemical Laboratory, is being carried out by William Barksdale, and gives the students an opportunity to learn something about the testing that is be ing done in our laboratories. The Training Department in suggest ing this course feels that this innova tion has possibilities in building better understanding between the Vocational School, the students, and the Marshall Field Organization, as well as a long step forward in training future students in the production and quality control of textile goods.
