Central Warehouse Chatter-box
By Leroy Sweeney
Packing Dept.:
“So this is April Fool’s day—Ha, Ha,
Ha!!!!” I won’t look now, because I
know that my shoes are untied, I have
paint on the back of my shirt, also
grease on the seat of my trousers, and
also, I just dropped my pocketbook
W'ith a hundred bucks in it! So what'??
Here’s what—the one who laughs last,
laughs best!!! So here I go—“tee hee!!”
And now for a few last minute news-
on-the-spot-flashes . . .
Mr. and Mrs. Carlis J. Martin spent
an enjoyable day last Sunday “window
shopping” in Winston-Salem, N. C. They
were accompanied by Mr. and Mrs.
Thomas Willard. Say, did you “chillun”^
decide on your Easter outfit yet?
Our dept, lost a good man, Tom Pratt,'
to the baseball profession a few days
ago. We know that you will be in there
pitching, Tom. So, the very best pf luck
to you, from the entire gang.
By the way, folks, our “Esau” sure
did get rid of those “mumps” in a hurry!
Or weren’t the fish biting just right??
We wonder!!
Everyone would like to see our “Jay-
dee” with a “scrumptuous” permanent
wave for Easter.
Pfc. Clarence O. Shipton is spending
his furlough with his parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Clifford Shipton. He has just com
pleted his “Jump and Glider Training”

The Shiptons spent the week-end in
Salisbury, N. C., with relatives.
The Central Warehouse as a whole
