One of our girls w'ent down to the
airport and watched the planes go up
a while, with the intention of learning
to fly. After watching them take off a
while, she decided she had rather stay
on the ground. Can’t say I blame you,
Mabel.
The folks out on the sick list this
week are the following—Maggie Vestal,
Ruby Winn, Odessa Taylor, and Thelma
Hundley. Hurry back, folks. We miss
you lots.
We sure were glad to see two of our

while. Ethan Pendleton returned to his

and Harold Shough, who has been-out
with a dislocated bone in his arm.' Also

illness of her husband. Sure glad to
have you back.
It won’t be long now until June 15,
will it, Mary Ann? I also hear that wed

Kellam and Bill Moore sometime this
month. Luck to all of you. .June always
has pretty brides.
Our little girl has changed her song
this week from “Give Me a Little Kiss,
Will Ya, Huh” to “Laughing on the
Outside, Crying on the Inside.” Hm!
I wonder what’s happened to her?
That’s too sad for me. Another girl is
often heard to sing or whistle “The
Gypsy.” I think I’ll go see that lady and
let her read my future; already know
my past. Any of you girls like to join
me?

Some more folks were seen at the
airport Sunday. Have you lost faith in
the ball club, too, “Mr. S.?” And what’s
happened to playing golf? Have you
decide to take up flying also?
