Every month as long as you live sub ject to certain conditions to be explain ed later. Will any death benefits be paid under the Pension Flan? No. However, you can participate in the Group Life Insurance which is available to employees of all divi sions of the Company, jind provide death benefits in that manner. There is no direct connection between the Pen sion Plan and the Group Insurance. May you arrange that after your death a pension be continued for your wife or another person? Yes. You have the option to name either your husband or wife, or another person whom you help to support, so that payments will continue to that person after your death, if you die after your Normal Retirement Date, and have actually retired. Your monthly check will, of course, be smaller than if the pension were to be paid only during your life. If you want to name such a person you must do so before you retire and at least two years before your Normal Retirement Date. Will the pension be paid to you even if you take another job after you have retired from Marshall Field & Company? Yes. Monthly pension payments will be made, regardless of what you do after retirement. However, you will not receive Social Security benefits if you take a job covered by the Social Se curity Act and earn $50, or more, a month. When you reach your 75th birthday, you may earn any amount and still get Social Security benefits.
