LETTERS FROM OUR SERVICEMEN B I Dear Editor: I will try to write a few lines to let you know how much I en joyed getting the MILL WHISTLE while I was in Germany. I would like to continue to get it since I have gotten settled down here in the States. A lot of my buddies looked forward to my getting the MILL WHISTLE as much as I did. I have my wife with me here at the base so I don’t have to use the military address now. I sure did enjoy working for Fieldcrest and I hope I can be back there working again in about a year. Our new address is; Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Wood 889 Bombach Ave., Apt. 5 Wilmington, Ohio Dear Mr. Thomas: Just a few lines to let you know I’m returning to my home base from duty in the Mediterranean and will get rnail there until further notice. I would like to get the “MILL WHISTLE” while I am there. They send it to the address that’s on the paper no matter where it goes so I thought I’d let you know be forehand. All of my buddies like the paper as much as I do. The mail man says “Here’s Your Mill Whistle, Shrop”; I want it next”. So it gets around quite a lot. Last time I saw the last issue some “Swabbie” was reading it in the “Crew’s Lounge”. It was very interest ing to try and figure out the people in the BowUng League. I knew most of them but wasn’t sure since there were no names. So during all of my free time, I would try and figure out who they were. Won’t be long now before I’m through with this and will be back again. Till then, I would like to hear from old friends, new friends, enemies or just anybody. My address is as follows: Cpt. Jerry T.
