Santa Claus Flies In For Visit To Fieldale _ Pictures above were taken during Santa Claus to Fieldale through sponsorship of the Rotary ^ the Fieldale Service Club. Santa flew in from the Pole and was met at the Martinsville Airport by the dale Fire Truck and was driven to the Fieldale Corn>^ Center. As he came into town, the Fieldale High School played “Here Comes Santa Claus”, followed by other propriate Christmas numbers. Santa had treats for all of the children. Followiii|gt>* parade through the business section, the Christmas rt. were turned on in Fieldale. Santa then moved on colored village where he distributed treats to the cP there. ^ At top left, Santa holds three-year-old M3n:a daughter of Kyle S. Fulcher of the Hosiery Mill and S daughter of H. Amos Byrd of the Towel Mill. ^ In picture at lower left he holds two-year Cindy daughter of Geneva Roach who works in the Personnel Office and Jimmy Roach who is a member ^ Standards Department at Fieldale.
